Bay-window dental surgery fit-out
A Victorian bay-window room taken back to the joists, re-floored and services re-run, then fitted out as a full working surgery.

The brief
A second room at the Haverhill CB9 practice — a Victorian front room with a full bay window — was to be converted into a working surgery. The existing floor was suspended timber over a void with no way of running clinical services through it as it stood.
The work
We lifted the floor back to the joists across the whole room, including under the bay, and ran new drainage, water, suction, compressed air and electrical first fix through the void to the chair position. The floor structure was repaired and re-decked, walls were hacked off, replastered and decorated, and new lighting and air conditioning installed. Cabinetry was fitted around two walls with a seamless worktop, integrated clinical sink and graphite drawer banks, then the room finished in dark welded safety vinyl with coved skirtings.
The result
A bright surgery that keeps the character of the bay window while hiding every service under the floor — and a room that now matches the rest of the practice.
