The brief

A galley-style kitchen renovation in Amersham — the brief wanted a classic light grey shaker base lifted with a bold colour statement rather than an all-neutral scheme.

The work

We fitted light grey shaker cabinetry along both runs with a central island, finished in white quartz worktops, integrated a gas hob with a full stainless steel chimney extractor, and painted a teal feature wall behind the sink run, finished with herringbone flooring throughout.

The result

A bright, sociable galley kitchen — the teal wall gives it real character without overwhelming the light grey units, and the island makes the most of the long, narrow layout.
