Pebble gloss handleless kitchen
A wraparound handleless kitchen in pebble gloss, with a white quartz worktop, peninsula and integrated appliances.

The brief
A Hampstead kitchen that needed to feel bigger and brighter than it was. The room is a modest square with one window, so the brief was a layout that used all three walls without closing the space in, and a finish that would bounce what daylight there is around the room rather than absorb it.
The work
We took the kitchen back to bare walls, re-ran the plumbing and electrics for the new layout, and set the units out in a wraparound run with a peninsula under the window. Handleless slab doors in pebble gloss keep the elevations flat and unbroken, with a white quartz worktop and matching upstand run through in one tone. The oven went into a tall housing so the worktop runs clear, the hob sits under a chimney extractor, and under-cabinet lighting washes the splashback. Wood-effect flooring was laid throughout and plantation shutters fitted to the window.
The result
A small kitchen that reads as a much larger one. The gloss doors and pale worktop lift the light from the single window, the handleless fronts keep the lines clean, and the peninsula gives a run of worktop and a place to sit without eating into the floor.
